BAND REHEARSAL PROGRAM

Build Your Skills as a Musician!

Currently enrolled students in private lessons can take advantage of our newly developed BAND REHEARSAL PROGRAM and have the opportunity of playing music as a group.

Within the program, students will learn pop songs, rock songs, jazz pieces, and R&B songs to develop the student into a musicianship roll of working as a team to create music. 

 

The student band will be offered opportunities to play at various festivals or events as they are presented to us by one of our instructors that is actively looking for these gigs. Students will also be able to perform in our spring Concert Performance designed for band, duo, trio and quartet performances. 
 

• Band Rehearsals will be set once or twice a month or as students are ready to practice a song.

• Students must practice songs assigned with their instructor in the private lesson and also spend time on their own practicing. 

• Students will be provided sheet music for ease of learning

• As we are offered live performances, the instructor will select the songs for the band to perform and students will be invited to sign up for the performance. Rehearsals will be set to prepare for the performance. 

• Band Rehearsals will be scheduled for general practice to keep students engaged in practicing together as a group. 

• Instruments ideal for workshop: guitar, bass guitar, piano, violin, viola, flute, drums and percussion. 

  • Band Rehearsals will meet for 1 Hour on a Saturday or Sunday afternoon.
    Cost per student: $20 per session.
