Music Quarters at Colony Place opened in 2008, probably during one of the most challenging economic times of U.S. history. But for us, we knew the time was right to begin our journey of starting our music lesson studio business. Being located in the heart of the Olde Providence neighborhood and within close proximity to many schools both public and private, we knew we were going to offer a service of music lessons to families that would be of great value to children of all ages interested in learning how to play music.

Music Quarters Colony Place has reached out to many families and students within the south Charlotte area and beyond. We specialize in starting children at ages 5 and up with their music studies. We have enjoyed watching children grow up with us and many have left us to go on to college.

 

Currently we have limited our lobby area to brief a waiting area for students to arrive a few minutes before their lessons. We no longer offer extended waiting in the lobby area to help keep the number of people in the studio limited.  We have found keeping the studio as congested free as possible helps with maintaining a healthy environment. But being located in the Colony Place Shopping Center parents can take advantage of the shops to do some errands or take a break in one of the nearby coffee shops or restaurants.
